  • You will get personalised attention throughout your session. After a postural analysis at your first session, I tailor the exercises to your specific needs and goals. I will offer gentle tactile corrections if that suits you and help you to find your correct alignment before you move. I will be able to observe your body movement patterns and help you to get the most out of your session.

  • You will learn the principles of Pilates and how to implement them into your movement patterns. You will learn how the principles of breathing, pelvic placement, ribcage stability, scapular movement and head placement work together to perform the exercise and contribute to mind-body connection.

  • You will learn to execute an exercise with precision and learn the correct firing pattern of the muscles. There is time to ask questions, to try an exercise in a way that suits you better and to eventually master it. Learning the correct technique allows you to get the full benefit of Pilates for the mind and body.

  • You will progress at a rate that suits you which can help you reach your goals sooner, especially if you are recovering from an injury or learning to exercise efficiently with a physical condition. I will also motivate you to do your best and to try exercises that might have seemed out of reach to you in the past.
